Scaling Automotive Cybersecurity Across Complex Client Environments

As automotive software ecosystems grow in scale and complexity, delivering consistent cybersecurity outcomes across organizations and platforms has become increasingly difficult. For Deloitte Spain, this challenge emerged at the intersection of regulation, software velocity, and operational scale.

Supporting multiple automotive clients in parallel—each with different development environments, toolchains, and compliance requirements—made manual assessments and fragmented tooling unsustainable. Deloitte needed a standardized, productized way to deliver cybersecurity that could scale across programs while meeting UN-R155 and ISO/SAE 21434 expectations.

To address this, Deloitte Spain adopted the PlaxidityX cybersecurity platform as part of its automotive delivery toolkit. Built on Amazon Web Services, the platform leverages AWS Lambda and Step Functions to automate cybersecurity workflows, while Amazon SQS enables event-driven processing across distributed environments. Centralized data handling, supported by managed AWS services, ensures consistent reporting, traceability, and audit readiness across client programs.

By running PlaxidityX on AWS, Deloitte transformed automotive cybersecurity into a repeatable, scalable capability—allowing teams to deliver consistent results across complex client ecosystems without slowing development or increasing operational overhead.
