At PlaxidityX, we deliver holistic cyber security solutions, built for mobility. Fueled by the complex needs of vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, our strategic approach ensures connected vehicles are designed and maintained for safety, privacy, and security.

*Note: Originally, PlaxidityX was founded in Israel as ‘Argus Cyber Security Ltd.’. This video was originally published under our previous company name. We have since rebranded to PlaxidityX.
Three graduates of the Israel Defense Forces’ Unit 8200 – responsible for the military’s cyber security – created Argus Cyber Security LTD.* to bring their robust expertise to the private sector. And until today, our R&D department is home to cyber experts from across the IDF.
We launched CAN IDPS, enabling manufacturers and Tier 1s to detect and respond to onboard cyberattacks. This is underpinned by PlaxidityX (Formerly Argus Cyber Security LTD.*) VSOC for monitoring and fleet visibility.
Driven by our first product launches, we expanded to new offices in Stuttgart, Detroit, and Tokyo. We also joined Auto-ISAC, a global information-sharing initiative for automotive security.
Continental, a global automotive leading supplier, acquired PlaxidityX (Formerly Argus Cyber Security LTD.*) to become part of Continental’s technology subsidiary Elektrobit (EB) and positioned as a stand-alone brand serving OEMs and Tier-1s worldwide.
Continuing our global development, we worked with a Japanese Tier 1 and manufacturer on our first CAN IDS serial production project for a gateway.
After just six years in business, we registered our 70th cyber-security patent – testament to our constant innovation, technological leadership, and drive to do things differently.
By 2021, we’d established partnerships with automotive industry leaders such as NXP, AWS, Google, Atos, and IBM. We also implemented VSOC and vulnerability management solutions with a major mobility provider and the world’s largest airline.
Reflecting our commitment to delivering safe and secure products, all PlaxidityX (Formerly Argus Cyber Security LTD.*) in-vehicle software are compliant with Automotive SPICE Level 2 requirements – the benchmark for quality in the automotive industry.
With over 200 employees worldwide, we’re trusted to provide state-of-the-art cyber-security solutions for manufacturers and Tier 1s of every shape and size; all with a uniquely strategic approach, a deep understanding of manufacturer priorities, and a responsive, can-do attitude.
In August 2024, Argus Cyber Security Ltd announced its transformation into PlaxidityX. This change emphasized the company’s focus on meeting the future security challenges of the mobility sector. The name change signifies the company’s expansion of products and solutions and reaching new markets, positioning PlaxidityX for accelerated growth and expansion of market share.
